Rerouting Power from the Establishment to the People
Who We Are
Reroute Power PAC is a collective of young people who are sick and tired of corporations, oligarchs, and establishment voices trumping our own and making life unlivable for working-class people. To combat this, Reroute organizes Gen-Z volunteers from across the U.S. to take coordinated action in New York City’s upcoming 2025 elections. We have endorsed Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee for Mayor, and are training and empowering our team to make sure real New Yorkers—not corporate interests—decide this November’s elections.

The Reroute Fellowship Program is your chance to be on the frontlines of challenging and changing New York City politics—no matter where you live. As a Reroute Fellow, you’ll join a nationwide team of Gen-Z organizers working together to help elect people-first candidates and take on the political establishment.
Over the course of the 2025 NYC election season, fellows’ primary responsibility will be connecting with prospective voters through structured outreach activities such as phone banking, texting, and digital organizing. Fellows may also contribute to specialized projects based on their skills and interests, including communications, digital design, policy research, social media, fundraising, and community engagement.
While our work in 2025 is focused on New York City, fellows are recruited from across the country to gain hands-on experience and make an impact in one of the most important elections of this year. This is an opportunity to play a direct role in shaping outcomes in New York while developing practical organizing and leadership skills.
Fellows also receive structured training and mentorship designed to build long-term capacity as political and community organizers. The program includes educational sessions on campaign strategy, voter contact best practices, digital organizing, fundraising, political communications, and more. By the end of the fellowship, participants will have concrete skills, real-world experience, and a strong network of peers committed to grassroots political change.
Hours are flexible, though the strongest applicants will be available at least 6 hours per week. Positions are fully remote. This is an unpaid fellowship, but we encourage students to seek course credit, and our team will support them in securing credit when possible.
Whether you’re a seasoned activist or brand-new to organizing, the Reroute Fellowship gives you the tools, support, and community you need to make an impact.
